One, two, three...the recount is on in Winona County.
Winona County election officials say the recount is going smoothly so far, and they don't predict any problems other counties around the state have faced, such as missing ballots, and counts that don't balance with the precinct. More than 28,000 ballots are being recounted. Officials they should be able to wrap things up today. Winona County is on the back–end of this statewide recount which will conclude Friday. The state canvassing board is scheduled to meet December 16. Both Coleman and Franken campaigns have disputed thousands of ballots.
