Senator Klobuchar tours Winona's Peerless Chain Company
United States Senator Amy Klobuchar toured Peerless Chain Company during a visit to Winona this morning. Klobuchar's visit was part of a regional tour focusing on creating jobs and promoting the world-wide economy.In addition to this morning's stop in Winona, Klobuchar also had stops scheduled in Wabasha and in Red Wing where she was to tour Red Wing Shoe Company. Klobuchar said she has introduced legislation that will make sure young people are able to get the skills needed to help push Minnesota and America forward.
