It's A Winner!
Members of the Winona Steamboat Days committee announced the winner of this year's button design contest Monday afternoon during an assembly at Bluffview Montessori School. Liz Polachek was presented with a $100 savings bond and a plaque for her winning entry. She also receives four Steamboat Days buttons, carnival armbands for her family and the opportunity to ride on the Steamboat Days float in both the Kiddie Parade and the Grande Parade. Steamboat Days buttons will officially go on sale Friday. They will be available beginning at 4:30 p.m. at the Lake Park Bandshell during "Capitol For A Day" activities.
