Annual City Auction Scheduled For Thursday
Thursday is the day of the City of Winona surplus spring auction. Most know it as the bike auction. This year's auction includes over 150 items including nearly 90 recovered or abandoned bikes, six seized and forfeited vehicles, a pair of cars recently retired from the city motor pool, two old city transit buses and many other items. Everything from fishing poles to chairs to old computers will be up for sale. The auction is held at the City Central Garage located at 1104 West Third Street. Viewing of the items will begin at 3:30 p.m. with the auction starting at 4:00.
