Woman admits to reporting false burglary
A woman who was afraid to tell her employer about a broken computer, has been charged with falsely reporting a crime. Winona police were investigating a reported burglary at Premier Auto Glass when an employee, identified as Bobi Jo Scholgel of Winona, admitted she had made the incident up. Scholgel told investigators that she had broken a lap top computer and didn't know what to do. The burglary was reported on Saturday. Scholgel had told police someone had used her key to gain entry to the business and take the computer.
