A Winona man pleaded guilty yesterday for his role in the drug overdose death of a Winona woman on February 1, 2008. As part of an agreement reached with prosecutors Jeffrey Lee Frey was convicted of aiding and abetting manslaughter in the second degree. Minnesota sentencing guidelines call for a sentence of 58- months. He remains free on $100,000 bail. Zubick is currently serving a 48-month prison sentence for second degree manslaughter for Christensen's death on February 1, 2008. A third defendant, Harold Albert Skroch, Jr. is scheduled to be in court March 4, 2010 on charges related to the case.
