Benefit Planned For Abigail Boebel
A special benefit is being held April 5, 2008 to help Abigail Boebel's family with medical costs. Abbi was born with serious heart conditions and Downs Syndrome on January 18, 2008. A few days later she underwent heart surgery at St. Mary's Hospital in Rochester. Friends of the Boebel family have organized a silent auction fundraiser to be held at St. Matthew's Lutheran Church in Winona. The event will be held from 11:00 a.m. until 3:00 p.m. and will also feature a walking taco or hot dog lunch and bake sale along with other activities. Tickets are $5.00 for ages 5 and older and $3.00 for those under 5-years-old. Donations can also be made payable to: The Abigail Boebel Family Benefit at any Winona Wells-Fargo location.
